Obed Uc grew up in the Yucatan of Mexico and is a graduate of the San Pablo Seminary in Mérida. Obed came to Ciudad Juárez to assist the BEAMM missionaries as an intern. After graduation in 2002, Obed came to Ciudad Juárez to begin a long-term ministry with BEAMM as a church planter.
Throughout 2004, Obed began taking on more of the pastoral duties of the Gracia y Paz church under the guidance of Josué Mayo. He was officially installed as the pastor of Gracia y Paz on December 4, 2005.
Brenda is from Juárez and met Obed at Gracia y Paz. Obed and Brenda were married on June 18, 2005. Their daughter Zhoe was born in July, 2006.
The Uc’s have just moved to Nogales, Sonora, to begin working with the Mayo and the Gonzalez families at Misión Pueblo de Esperanza.
