Jacinto Ordoñez
About Me ...

Jacinto is from Puebla, Mexico, and accepted Christ in 2000 at the age of 24 after a life of selling and using drugs. After his conversion, he attended a Pentecostal church for three months, then moved to Mexico City to work with a church which offered a rehabilitation ministry for nine months.

In the summer of 2001, he left for Tucson, AZ, and joined the Templo La Unción Church, where he became acquainted with Reformed Doctrine for the first time. Through the teaching of Rev. Dan Young, he encountered a totally different viewpoint of the truth of the Bible regarding salvation. In the summer of 2005, after spending four years in Tucson, he returned to Nogales, Sonora,, and worked for a year as a church planting missionary of Templo La Unción.

In 2006, some of the brethren of Catalina Foothills Church in Tucson saw his desire to work in God’s kingdom, and encouraged him to attend San Pablo Seminary in Juárez, so that he might be more effective in the Lord’s work. He is now in his fourth year at San Pablo.

Also, during his years at San Pablo, he participated in a two-year pilot mentorship program of BEAMM. Mentored by Obed Uc, Jacinto served with the Gracia y Paz Church in Juarez, working with the youth group and teaching a Bible study with the women.

In July, 2009, Jacinto accepted the position of church planter apprentice serving with the Nogales team. He will complete his studies with San Pablo by extension.
