Samuel is from the state of Chiapas and is a graduate of the San Pablo Seminary in Mérida. Samuel came to Ciudad Juárez to assist the BEAMM missionaries as an intern. After graduation in 2002, Samuel came to Ciudad Juárez to begin a long-term ministry with BEAMM as a church planter. Samuel has now graduated from nursing school and served the required year of service on behalf of the government. He utilizes his skills as a nurse as a means of outreach and mercy ministry to the members of the surrounding community.
Zeneida grew up in the Yucatan of Mexico and received Christ when she was seventeen. She started working with the youth at her church and taught Sunday School. She then attended the San Pablo Seminary so that she would be better trained to serve the Lord. After graduating from seminary in 1999, Zeny accepted an internship in Ciudad Juárez for the summer to help with V.B.S., evangelism, and discipleship. At the end of the summer, BEAMM invited her to work long-term, training leaders, assisting with cell groups, and teaching music at the churches and later at the Music School of the San Pablo Seminary in Juárez. Samuel and Zeny were married in September, 2006, and are currently helping to plant a church in the Frontera Nueva area of Juárez along with Josué and Martha Mayo. The mission, Frontera de Gracia (Border of Grace) is now meeting in a rented area near the Lopez's home. Their first child, Neydi Jaanai Lopez, was born October 10, 2008!
