Tony Cooper grew up in Tennessee and has worked in the automotive field for over 20 years. He is also experienced in construction. Fairly is a native of Mississippi and a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi. Tony and Fairly were married in 1998 and have blended family of 5 boys.
Their first short-term mission trip was to Rio Bravo, Mexico, in 1999 constructing a school for deaf children. It was here that Tony felt God's call to missions. In 2000, they returned to Rio Bravo and Fairly also felt God call her to mission work. Together they began to pray for God's guidance and timing. Their call, ten years later, is still to serve the deaf in Reynosa, Mexico, with Isaiah 55.
Tony will be the construction coordinator for work teams and will mentor summer interns. Fairly will host teams and minister to the families of the deaf children. Tony and Fairly also plan to participate in the sign language classes taught weekly to the parents and family of the deaf children, allowing friendships to be nurtured with the children and their families.
